Sunrun for the developing world

Bright is Mexico’s #1 residential solar provider (think Sunrun for the developing world, starting first in Mexico). We provide the financing and software that enable thousands of student ambassadors and retail promoters to offer cheaper electricity to homes at no upfront cost, and we work with our network of hundreds of local installers and distributors to satisfy the resulting demand. Our first market is Mexico, which has more sun, higher electricity rates, and lower labor costs than the US. Bright's investors include First Round Capital, Y Combinator, and other top Silicon Valley firms.

Robot Cowboys that Herd Cattle with AI Drones

Brumby builds autonomous drones that herd cattle. On command, our drones fly to a paddock, position themselves around the mob, and move them where they need to go. What used to take a full day of helicopters, motorbikes, and horses now runs on a schedule. We work with some of the largest cattle ranches in the world. While the drones are herding, they're also estimating animal weights, measuring grass biomass, monitoring water levels, and flagging sick animals. We're building physical AI that lets a grazier manage thousands of head across millions of acres from their phone.

BuildZoom is a better way to remodel. We connect homeowners to the most reliable general contractors in their area and make remodeling simpler, cheaper and more predictable. Our technology harvests public data on every licensed contractor in the United States, including license information, building permits, bond and insurance information and other government records. We use this public data along with private data gleaned from past BuildZoom marketplace interactions to evaluate contractor quality, availability, and fit for each construction project. Our goal is to help project owners arrive at several competitive bids from highly qualified and experienced construction companies to ensure a fair price and a successful project. We build tools to help contractors look their best online, manage their lead pipeline, seamlessly interact with project owners, and compose professional bid proposals.

Agentic Operating System for Food Supply Chain

Food Supply Chain companies have been using legacy ERPs for decades. Everyone knows these are necessary evils that essentially run the business but take up a lot of operational capacity. They are not about to just rip and replace their existing system that runs their whole business with a system that takes years to implement. Imagine if they could implement AI that runs the ERP for them, in weeks? Burnt’s building an agentic OS for the Food Supply Chain with AI Agents for each department. Our AI Agent, Ozai, has started by replacing the whole order management job function at food distribution companies, so that sales and customer service teams can focus on what matters - the customer. Ozai monitors all incoming messages (emails, phone calls, voicemails, whatsapp, fax etc.), figures out if it's an order, learns each customer's habits, shorthand, and favorite products, picks up on any prep notes, and enters it straight into the existing ERP. It'll even go back to the customers on your behalf when it's not sure about something, clarify things and carry on working. The more it sees, the smarter it gets.

AI teammates for logistics

We're building for the people that keep the world moving. Freight brokers and forwarders operate on razor-thin margins in a relationship-driven business — yet most of their teams spend the majority of their day on manual, repetitive work. We help freight brokers and forwarders build AI teammates that handle their repetitive, manual tasks so teams have time to focus on customers, carriers, and growing the business.
