Evolutionary intelligence for autoimmune disease

Ditto Bio discovers drugs for autoimmune diseases by harnessing parasite biology. Viruses, ticks, and worms have experimented over millions of years to create proteins that control the human immune system. We use AI to identify these proteins and engineer them into next-generation autoimmune therapies. Our team is three PhD scientists from UCSF, UCSD, and UC Berkeley who have worked together for 3+ years in biotech. We have deep expertise in parasite biology, computational biology, and software for AI-based protein structure prediction

The AI-native trading company: China factory-direct for US importers

Donkey is the modern trading company. We buy straight from Chinese factories and sell delivered to US importers: one USD price to their dock, duty paid, our own inspectors on the factory floor before the factory gets paid. Most importers buy through trading companies that mark up every container 15 to 30 percent and never reveal the factory. US customs records are public. Almost nobody reads them, so we arrive already knowing their supply lane. They send one photo of a part they reorder. We name the factory that actually makes it and beat their landed cost in 72 hours, or they keep their supplier. We take title, run the inspection, move the money, and offer credit-insured net-45 terms to qualified buyers. The old trading giants ran this coordination with tens of thousands of people. Our machine runs it with a handful, and every settled order compounds the pricing and reliability data the next one runs on. Team in SF and China, English and Mandarin. Know a US importer buying from China? Send them our way: one photo of a part, and we will name their factory. donkey.trade

Doomscroll to learn languages

Doomersion (formerly Doomlingo) lets you learn languages by doomsrolling! Watch TikToks in your target language that are exactly matched to your level, and as you scroll, they get a little bit harder. Gen-Z doomscrolls 2.5-3 hours a day, and if we bake immersion into that by only showing them viral videos in another language that are matched to their level, we can make the optimal language learning method addictive for people. Hence the name, doomersion. The app gained ~15k downloads in the first two weeks, and power users spend ~3+ hours daily on the app. Feel free to download and try it yourself!
